Azan Ismail Resigns As Pahang PKR Deputy Chairman
KUANTAN, Jan 25 (Bernama) — Member of Parliament for Indera Mahkota Azan Ismail on Monday announced his resignation as Pahang Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) deputy chairman.
Azan, 44, said his resignation was prompted by his disappointment over the administration of the state PKR.
He said, however, he would remain as PKR member, Indera Mahkota division chief and MP for Indera Mahkota.
“I had informed the state PKR liaison committee of my wish to resign as its meeting yesterday. It was attended by all division chiefs except for Cameron Highlands division chief.
“I also told the meeting that I am resigning as Pahang PKR Membership Bureau chairman,” he told reporters here.
